- User modes
- s        Can receive server notices.
- i        Cannot be seen in /WHO by nonircops.
- w        Can receive WALLOPS. 
- I        Hides a users channels from all nonopers.
- R        Only allow registered and identified users to message you
- S        Strips colour from private messages.
- r        Registered nickname.
- x        Enables or disables cloaking of user hostmask.

- Channel modes
- b <pattern>     Ban a particular nick!user@host pattern from joining the channel.
- h <nick>        Give channel halfoperator status to the given nickname.
- i               Invite only. Users need to be invited to join.
- k <key>         Sets a password required to JOIN a channel.
- l <num>         Limits the maximum number of people on a channel.
- m               Moderated channel. Users need to be +v (voice) or higher to talk.
- n               No external messages, users must be on channel to talk.
- o <nick>        Give channel operator status to the given nickname.
- p               Private. Hides the channel from a user's WHOIS reply.
- s               Secret. Same as private, and hides channel from LIST.
- t               Only channel operators can change topic
- v <nick>        Give voiced status to the given nickname. 
- C               Disables CTCP to channels.
- J <secs>        Automatic rejoin prevention.
- M               Only registered users may speak.
- N               No nick changes.
- O               Opersonly can join channel.
- P               Block allcaps lines.
- R               Only registered users may join.
- S               Strips colour from messages.
- T               Disables sending of NOTICEs to a channel.
- a <nick>        Give protected status to a user.
- e <pattern>     Ban exceptions.
- c               Blocks messages containing colour codes.
- f <lines:sec>   Prevent message and notice floods.
- F <nicks>:<sec> Prevent nick change floods. 
- j <joins:sec>   Prevent join and cycle floods.
- r               Registered channel.
- q <nick>        Give channel founder status to a user.
- z               Only allows SSL enabled users on the channel.
