- 00net is now a part of AppliedIRC. For mutually beneficial reasons,
- the decision has been made to merge 00net with the AppliedIRC network.
- This means that, thanks to the services that AppliedIRC have been
- running for quite some time, all users now have access to highly

- We also suggest that you check out the AppliedIRC rules, which are
- available to read at http://appliedirc.com/rules - you will notice
- that most of these rules are similar in nature to the rules that 00net
- formerly had on it's own.

- I also suggest that you investigate any channel-specific rules for the
- channels you are using. For example, as some of you well know, #snoopy
- has it's own rules governing the use of nicknames and text styling. Not
- all channels have the same rules, so look in toit.

- All the 00net channels that you are used to using, and all the bots and
- features that were available within, are still available on AppliedIRC.
- As you chat, you will find such familiar things as SphereBot in #snoopy,
- providing the same features that he always has. Even though AppliedIRC
- has advanced nickname- and channel-management services, we know that not
- all former-00net users are/were comfortable with the concept. It is not
- required that you use ChanServ to manage your channel - you are more than
- welcome to use bots to do so if you wish, as you always have done.
